Ontonagon County hosts a significant trail network for both motorized and non-motorized recreation. The Pioneer Multi-Use State Trail Number 13 is about 3+ miles to the north west. The North Country Scenic Trail (NCST), used for hiking, runs west to east through the central part of the county, including the Porcupine Mountains State Park.
