Oilworkers are flooding the Permian Basin (and other oil production regions) to work the oilfields that are now coming online. Rents have been shooting up in these regions, leaving Mobile Homes as one of the natural property types to fill the gaps. Danny Rudd with Solitaire Homes says that sales have doubled at his dealership, up to 12-15 per month, compared to an average of 5-7 per month.
